TPR800-06 SS Rotating Nozzle | 11,600 PSI Extreme Duty

The AR North America TPR800-06 Rotating Nozzle is a heavy-duty, ultra-high-pressure (UHP) turbo nozzle engineered for demanding 800-bar (11,600 PSI) cleaning, surface preparation, and washdown applications. Featuring a 6.0 orifice size, this nozzle delivers high water volume while maintaining aggressive mechanical impact, making it ideal for large-surface industrial jobs where both flow and pressure are critical.

Internally, the TPR800-06 uses a precision-balanced rotor to convert a narrow 0° pencil jet into a high-speed 20° rotating spray cone. This rotating action multiplies impact frequency across the surface, significantly improving cleaning efficiency and reducing labor time when removing rust, coatings, scale, concrete residue, oil, and heavy industrial buildup.

Key Features

  • Maximum pressure: Rated up to 11,600 PSI (800 bar) for ultra-high-pressure industrial cleaning systems.
  • 6.0 orifice size: Large orifice supports high-flow output for fast coverage on large surfaces.
  • 20° rotating spray cone: Rotating jet increases impact density and cleaning efficiency compared to fixed nozzles.
  • Vertical-start rotor design: Ensures reliable rotation and consistent spray performance under UHP conditions.
  • Stainless-steel body with hardened internals: Built to resist corrosion, abrasion, and high-velocity water wear.
  • Hot-water compatible: Rated for water temperatures up to 212 °F (100 °C).
  • 1/4″ female inlet: Standard UHP connection compatible with 800-bar lances, guns, swivels, and fittings.

Construction & Design Advantages

  • High-flow / high-impact balance: The 6.0 orifice allows greater water volume per pass while maintaining effective cutting power.
  • Efficient rotating jet action: The rotating cone spreads impact energy over a circular path, improving productivity and reducing cleaning time.
  • Built for harsh environments: Stainless-steel construction and hardened internal components withstand saltwater, chemicals, abrasion, and thermal stress.
  • Stable long-duty performance: Rotor geometry and vertical-start design provide smooth operation and extended service life.
  • Hot-water and chemical capable: Suitable for degreasing, oil removal, and heavy industrial cleanup applications.

Typical Applications

  • Marine & shipyards: Hulls, decks, tanks, piers, and saltwater-exposed structural steel.
  • Refineries & petrochemical plants: Removal of hydrocarbons, soot, scale, coatings, and process residues.
  • Tank & vessel cleaning: Exterior or interior cleaning of tanks, silos, clarifiers, and process vessels.
  • Concrete & infrastructure maintenance: Bridge decks, slabs, piers, precast panels, and industrial floors.
  • Heavy equipment & fleet washing: Dump trucks, vacuum trucks, trailers, frames, and machinery.
  • Industrial wash bays & surface prep: Degreasing, coating removal, and high-pressure washdown operations.

Performance & Sizing Guidelines

  • Flow and pressure matching: Ensure pump GPM and PSI output are correctly matched to a 6.0 orifice for optimal performance.
  • Minimum rotation pressure: UHP rotating nozzles typically require approximately 2,900 PSI minimum to initiate stable rotation.
  • Coverage vs. impact: The 6.0 orifice provides an effective balance between productivity and cutting force for large-area cleaning.
  • System compatibility: All hoses, guns, lances, swivels, and fittings must be rated for at least 11,600 PSI and hot-water use if applicable.

Best Practices for Use & Maintenance

  • Flush system before use: Clear hoses and pump lines of debris to protect the rotor and nozzle seat.
  • Ramp pressure gradually: Avoid sudden pressure spikes to reduce internal shock loads and extend nozzle life.
  • Monitor spray performance: Changes in spray pattern, vibration, or rotation speed indicate wear or blockage.
  • Rinse after chemical or hot-water use: Flush with clean water to prevent internal corrosion or residue buildup.
  • Use proper PPE: Ultra-high-pressure cleaning requires full protective gear and controlled stand-off distance.
  • Store properly: Cap and protect the nozzle when not in use to prevent orifice damage and contamination.
