TPR600-065 Stainless Steel Rotating Nozzle | 8,700 PSI Heavy Duty
The AR North America TPR600-065 Rotating Nozzle is a stainless steel turbo nozzle designed for
high-volume, heavy-duty cleaning and surface preparation in industrial, marine, hydro-excavation, and
heavy-equipment applications. Rated for a maximum working pressure of 8,700 PSI (600 bar)
and water temperatures up to 212°F (100°C), this 6.5 orifice nozzle converts
a concentrated 0° jet into a high-flow, rapidly rotating cone for powerful impact over a broad coverage area.
Built for large-flow 600-bar pump systems, the TPR600-065 delivers aggressive cutting force and efficient
surface coverage for demanding jobs such as removing rust, coatings, scale, and buildup from steel,
concrete, decks, tanks, and industrial structures. The stainless steel body and hardened internal components
ensure long service life in continuous-duty and harsh environments.
Key Features of TPR600-065
- Ultra-high-pressure rating: Certified up to 8,700 PSI (600 bar) for industrial and marine pump systems.
- Nozzle size 6.5: Large orifice optimized for high flow and broad surface coverage.
- Rotating turbo action: Converts a 0° jet into a rapidly spinning cone (approx. 20° spray angle) for faster cleaning.
- Stainless steel body: Corrosion-resistant construction for saltwater, chemical, and industrial exposure.
- Hardened nozzle and seat: Wear-resistant internal materials maintain pressure and spray quality.
- Vertical-start / anti-drop design: Maintains water in the rotor chamber to reduce startup shock.
- Hot-water capable: Rated up to 212°F (100°C) for grease, oil, and heavy residue removal.
- Standard 1/4″ female inlet: Compatible with common 600-bar guns, lances, and fittings.
Construction & Design Advantages
- Heavy-duty shell: Stainless steel housing protects internal components from jobsite impacts.
- High-volume performance: Large orifice increases effective cleaning width on large surfaces.
- Any-position operation: Designed for vertical, horizontal, or overhead use.
- Consistent rotating spray: Precision rotor delivers a stable impact circle with reduced streaking.
- Series standardization: Shared design across the TPR600 family simplifies maintenance and parts stocking.
Typical Applications
- Shipyards & marine maintenance: Hulls, decks, tanks, ramps, and steel structures exposed to saltwater.
- Industrial plant cleaning: Tanks, vessels, platforms, pipe racks, and containment areas.
- Concrete & infrastructure: Slabs, parking decks, bridge surfaces, and precast panels.
- Hydro-excavation support: Cleaning debris bodies, tanks, booms, and excavation equipment.
- Fleet & heavy-equipment washing: Dump trucks, vac trucks, construction and industrial vehicles.
- Large-area coating removal: Efficient stripping of paint, rust, and buildup on steel or concrete.
TPR600-065 Performance & Sizing Guidelines
- Flow and pressure matching: Designed for high-GPM 600-bar pump systems.
- Impact vs. coverage balance: Larger orifice increases coverage while maintaining strong cleaning force.
- Minimum operating pressure: Requires sufficient pressure to ensure reliable rotor rotation.
- System integrity: All hoses and fittings must be rated for 8,700 PSI and 212°F.
- Operator technique: Maintain proper standoff distance and smooth trigger control.
Best Practices for Use & Maintenance
- Flush before installation: Clear debris from hoses and lines to protect internal components.
- Use clean, filtered water: Reduces abrasive wear and extends nozzle life.
- Ramp pressure gradually: Avoid sudden pressure spikes during startup.
- Inspect spray pattern: Irregular rotation or vibration may indicate wear or blockage.
- Flush after chemical use: Prevents corrosion and residue buildup.
- Store properly: Protect the orifice from impact and contamination when not in use.
