TPR800-065 SS Rotating Nozzle 11,600 PSI Extreme-Duty UHP

The AR North America TPR800-065 Rotating Nozzle is an ultra-high-pressure (UHP) turbo
nozzle engineered for the most demanding 800-bar (11,600 PSI) cleaning, surface-preparation,
and industrial wash-down applications. Designed for large-scale jobs where both water
volume and cutting power are critical, the TPR800-065 features a 6.5 orifice size
that delivers high flow while maintaining a concentrated, high-energy jet for aggressive
cleaning performance.

As part of AR’s professional 800 Series TPR line, this rotating nozzle is rated for
maximum working pressures up to 11,600 PSI (800 bar) and hot-water operation up to
212°F (100°C). These specifications make it well suited for industrial plants,
shipyards, refineries, petrochemical facilities, and heavy infrastructure maintenance where
equipment must withstand extreme pressure, heat, and harsh operating conditions.

Internally, the TPR800-065 uses AR North America’s precision-engineered rotor mechanism to
transform a full-pressure zero-degree “pencil” jet into a fast-spinning
20° rotating spray cone. This rotating action delivers thousands of high-energy
water impacts per second across the target surface, dramatically increasing cleaning
efficiency. Compared to fixed or fan nozzles, the rotating cone reduces total cleaning time
while improving removal of stubborn contamination such as rust, scale, coatings, concrete
residue, oil film, grease, and heavy industrial grime.

TPR800-065 Key Features

  • 11,600 PSI (800 bar) maximum pressure: Built for extreme-duty UHP systems used in industrial, marine, refinery, and petrochemical environments.
  • 6.5 orifice size: High-flow configuration optimized for large-surface cleaning and high throughput without sacrificing impact energy.
  • 20° rotating spray cone: Converts a narrow jet into a rotating pattern that multiplies surface impacts and improves cleaning speed and uniformity.
  • Stainless-steel construction with hardened internals: Designed to withstand high-velocity water, abrasion, chemical exposure, and repeated high-pressure cycles.
  • Standard 1/4″ female inlet: Compatible with 800-bar rated lances, guns, swivels, and quick-connect systems.
  • Hot-water capable to 212°F (100°C): Enables effective removal of oils, grease, coatings, and baked-on industrial residue.
  • Vertical-start rotor design: Ensures reliable startup, stable rotation, and reduced internal stress under ultra-high-pressure operation.

Construction & Design Advantages

  • High-flow and high-impact balance: The 6.5 orifice allows more water volume per pass, improving productivity when cleaning large decks, slabs, tanks, hulls, or structural steel.
  • Efficient rotating-jet action: The rotating cone distributes energy evenly across a circular path, reducing streaking and missed areas while maintaining aggressive cutting power.
  • Severe-environment durability: Stainless-steel body and hardened wear components resist corrosion, saltwater, chemicals, abrasion, and thermal stress.
  • Hot-water and chemical readiness: Suitable for use with heated water and common industrial detergents, expanding versatility for degreasing and heavy cleanup tasks.
  • Easy system integration: Standard inlet sizing allows straightforward installation into existing UHP rigs without special adapters.

Typical Applications for TPR800-065

Industrial, Marine & Infrastructure Cleaning

  • Shipyards and marine maintenance: Removing rust, marine growth, coatings, and salt deposits from hulls, decks, tanks, piers, and offshore structures.
  • Refinery and petrochemical facilities: Cleaning vessels, pipe racks, platforms, containment areas, and structural steel contaminated with oil, soot, scale, or chemical residue.
  • Tank and vessel cleaning: High-capacity exterior or interior cleaning of tanks, silos, clarifiers, and process vessels with heavy buildup.
  • Concrete and infrastructure maintenance: Cleaning bridge decks, industrial floors, precast panels, piers, and large concrete slabs prior to repair or recoating.
  • Heavy equipment and fleet wash-down: High-pressure cleaning of dump trucks, vacuum trucks, trailers, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles.
  • Industrial wash bays and surface-prep shops: Degreasing, coating removal, and surface preparation under hot-water or chemical wash programs.

Performance & System Guidelines

  • Flow and pressure matching: The 6.5 orifice is optimized for high-volume flow at 800-bar pressure. Confirm pump output matches nozzle requirements to ensure efficient performance.
  • Minimum operating pressure: Reliable rotation typically begins around 2,900 PSI; operating closer to rated pressure ensures stable rotation and maximum cleaning impact.
  • System compatibility: All hoses, guns, lances, swivels, fittings, and safety equipment must be rated for at least 11,600 PSI and appropriate temperatures.
  • Operator technique: Use smooth, overlapping passes and maintain consistent stand-off distance for even cleaning and extended nozzle life.

Best Practices for Use & Maintenance

  • Flush the system before installation: Clear debris, rust, or scale from hoses and lines to protect the rotor and nozzle seat.
  • Ramp pressure gradually: Slow pressure increases reduce mechanical shock and extend service life.
  • Monitor spray behavior: Changes in cone shape, vibration, or noise may indicate wear or contamination.
  • Rinse after chemical or hot-water use: Flush thoroughly with clean water to prevent residue buildup.
  • Follow strict safety protocols: Ultra-high-pressure water is hazardous; proper PPE and safe stand-off distances are mandatory.
  • Store properly: Protect the nozzle from impact and contamination when not in use.
