TPR600-055 Stainless Steel Rotating Nozzle 8700 PSI Heavy Duty
The Annovi Reverberi TPR600-055 Rotating Nozzle is a high-flow, stainless-steel turbo nozzle
engineered for the most demanding industrial and marine cleaning jobs. Part of the TPR 600 stainless series,
this model features a 5.5 orifice size and is rated for working pressures up to
8,700 PSI (600 bar) with a maximum operating temperature of 212°F (100°C).
It converts a tight 0° jet into a rapidly rotating 20° cone pattern, delivering aggressive
impact while still covering a broad path, allowing crews to remove coatings, scale, and heavy contamination
in fewer passes.
Designed as a vertical start turbo nozzle, the TPR600-055 uses an internal rotor and
check-valve system to keep the rotor cavity full of water between trigger cycles. This greatly reduces
start-up hammer and protects the internal ceramic nozzle and seat from repeated impact when the spray gun is
reopened. A standard 1/4″ female inlet makes it easy to mount on professional 600-bar
lances and guns, while the stainless-steel body is built to withstand corrosion and rough handling in
shipyards, refineries, hydro-blasting rigs, and heavy equipment wash bays.
TPR600-055 Key Features
- Max pressure 8,700 PSI (600 bar): Designed for extreme-duty pump systems used in industrial plants, marine yards, and heavy construction cleaning.
- Nozzle size 5.5: Optimized for high-flow 600-bar pumps, providing strong impact with excellent coverage on large steel and concrete surfaces.
- 20° rotating spray pattern: Focuses energy into a compact impact zone that continuously sweeps the surface for faster removal of coatings, scale, and tough deposits.
- Vertical start design: Rotor and check-valve system dampens start-up impact and reduces flow shock, extending nozzle service life.
- Stainless-steel body: Corrosion-resistant casing stands up to salt spray, wash chemicals, and outdoor exposure.
- Ceramic nozzle and seat: Wear-resistant internals help maintain pressure and spray consistency under high-velocity flow.
- High-temperature capable: Rated for water temperatures up to 212°F (100°C) for hot-water cleaning systems.
- Standard 1/4″ female inlet: Compatible with professional high-pressure guns, lances, and quick-connect adapters.
Construction & Design Advantages
- Heavy-duty stainless shell: Protects the rotating assembly during close-contact work on steel, concrete, and deck surfaces.
- Any-position operation: Designed to operate vertically, horizontally, or overhead without stalling the rotor.
- Precision rotor group: Maintains a tight circular impact path for faster material removal than fixed 0° nozzles.
- High-speed rotation: Produces a uniform, high-energy spray ring for consistent cleaning results.
- Standardized TPR600 design: Shares pressure rating, inlet thread, and format with other TPR600 sizes for easy fleet standardization.
Typical Applications for TPR600-055
- Shipbuilding & marine maintenance: Removing marine growth, rust, and coatings from hulls, decks, ramps, ballast tanks, and structural steel.
- Industrial plant cleaning: Stripping paints, oxides, and hardened residues from tanks, mixers, platforms, and containment areas.
- Concrete & infrastructure: Deep cleaning and light profiling of slabs, bridges, parking decks, piers, and precast elements.
- Oil, gas & heavy industry: Cleaning skids, frames, heat exchangers, and support steel exposed to corrosive environments.
- Hydro-excavation & vacuum trucks: Cleaning debris bodies, tanks, booms, and tools between excavation jobs.
- Fleet & municipal equipment: Aggressive washing of dump trucks, vac trucks, sweepers, and public works vehicles.
Performance & Sizing Guidelines
- Orifice sizing & flow: Intended for high-flow 600-bar pumps; consult pump curves or nozzle charts to confirm final operating conditions.
- Minimum operating pressure: Requires approximately 2,175 PSI to maintain proper rotation.
- Impact vs. coverage: The 5.5 orifice provides a wider cleaning path while maintaining strong mechanical action.
- System compatibility: Ensure hoses, guns, lances, and fittings are rated for at least 8,700 PSI and 212°F.
- Operator technique: Maintain consistent stand-off distance and smooth movement for best results.
Best Practices for Use & Maintenance
- Flush system before installation: Remove debris using a standard fan nozzle to protect internal components.
- Use filtered water when possible: Reduces abrasive wear and extends nozzle life.
- Bring pressure up smoothly: Avoid sudden valve or trigger actions to reduce mechanical shock.
- Monitor spray pattern: Inspect for changes in rotation, vibration, or cone shape that may indicate wear.
- Rinse after chemical use: Flush with clean water to prevent buildup or corrosion.
- Store protected: Cap or store the nozzle in a holder or case when not in use.
