TPR400-12-1/2 | Turbo Nozzle, 5800 PSI, 1/2″ FNPT Inlet
The Annovi Reverberi TPR400-12-1/2 Rotary Turbo Nozzle is a specialized high-flow rotary head designed with a larger 1/2″ F NPT inlet for direct integration into hydro-excavation, potholing, and industrial wash systems. Featuring a 12.0 nozzle size and a maximum operating pressure of 5,800 PSI (400 bar), this nozzle drives very high volumes of water through a rotating 0° jet with a 20° cone. It is an excellent option for hydrovac trucks, jet-vac rigs, and high-flow skids that need serious water mass and impact on demanding jobs.
Built on the proven TPR400 rotary architecture, the TPR400-12-1/2 uses a brass housing, ceramic orifice, and balanced rotor assembly for long-term reliability in harsh conditions. A 212°F (100°C) temperature rating allows use with hot-water units, improving performance on grease, oils, and stubborn clays commonly encountered in excavation and industrial cleaning.

Performance & Design Highlights
- Extreme-flow 12.0 orifice: Supports very high GPM for maximum soil movement and cleaning throughput.
- Rotary zero-degree jet: High-speed rotation focuses energy into a narrow cutting path, ideal for breaking compacted soils and hard deposits.
- 1/2″ F NPT inlet: Simplifies connection to excavation lances, boom plumbing, and industrial manifolds without multiple reducers.
- High-pressure, hot-water capable: 5,800 PSI and 212°F ratings suit demanding excavation and plant tasks.
- Industrial-grade materials: Brass and ceramic resist wear in abrasive, dirty environments typical of hydro-excavation and heavy industry.
Typical Applications
- Hydro-excavation & potholing: Paired with vac systems to cut and fluidize soil and road base around utilities, poles, and structures while minimizing the risk of damage.
- Utility daylighting & slot trenching: Precision, non-mechanical excavation for gas, water, sewer, and telecom projects where controlled soil removal is critical.
- Heavy industrial washdown: High-volume cleaning of pads, pits, containment areas, and equipment bays in plants and processing facilities.
- Extreme surface prep: Stripping heavy deposits from concrete and steel before blasting, lining, or coating.
- Support for vacuum excavation fleets: A powerful nozzle option for hydrovac contractors who need interchangeable tips for different soil conditions and depths.

Sizing & Compatibility Recommendations
- Use only with properly sized high-GPM, high-pressure systems; confirm GPM and PSI against nozzle and pump charts.
- Respect 5,800 PSI and 212°F maximum ratings.
- The 1/2″ F NPT inlet is ideal for direct connection to excavation tooling and high-flow manifolds.
- Not suitable for low-volume consumer-grade pressure washers.
Maintenance & Best Practices
- Maintain filtration: Excavation and industrial environments are abrasive—service strainers and filters frequently.
- Monitor cutting behavior: Adjust standoff distance and angle to achieve effective soil removal without over-excavation.
- Inspect regularly: Check for uneven rotation, pattern distortion, or leaks; replace worn components to keep performance consistent and predictable.
