TPR800-04 SS Rotating Nozzle | 11,600 PSI Extreme Duty

The AR North America TPR800-04 Rotating Nozzle is a heavy-duty,
ultra-high-pressure turbo nozzle engineered for demanding 800-bar (11,600 PSI) cleaning environments.
Part of the 800-series TPR lineup, this stainless-steel rotating nozzle features a
4.0 orifice size, making it an excellent all-around choice for 800-bar lances and pump systems
where a balanced combination of flow, surface coverage, and cutting impact is required.

With a maximum operating pressure of 11,600 PSI (800 bar) and a hot-water rating up to
212°F (100°C), the TPR800-04 is built for continuous industrial service.
It is widely used across shipyards, refineries, steel fabrication facilities, tank cleaning operations,
concrete maintenance, and heavy infrastructure applications where reliability and performance are critical.

Internally, a precision-balanced rotor assembly converts a concentrated 0° jet into a
high-velocity 20° rotating spray cone. This rotating action dramatically increases the number of
water-jet impacts per second on the work surface, significantly improving cleaning speed, cutting power,
and surface uniformity compared to static jets or conventional fan nozzles.

The 4.0 orifice size represents a versatile performance “sweet spot,” offering enough flow to efficiently
cover large surface areas while maintaining the aggressive impact needed to remove coatings, rust, scale,
concrete residue, oil, and heavy industrial buildup.

TPR800-04 Key Features

  • 11,600 PSI / 800 bar pressure rating:
Designed for ultra-high-pressure systems used in continuous-duty industrial cleaning, blasting,
    and surface-preparation applications.
  • 4.0 orifice size:
Balanced flow and pressure output optimized for mid-to-high-flow 800-bar pump configurations,
delivering both cutting strength and wide cleaning coverage.
  • 20° rotating spray cone:
Converts a straight 0° jet into a rotating impact pattern, greatly increasing cleaning efficiency
while reducing striping and operator fatigue.
  • Stainless-steel construction:
Corrosion-resistant body suitable for harsh industrial, marine, saltwater, and chemical environments.
  • Hardened internal nozzle and seat:
Built to withstand high-velocity water, abrasive contaminants, and repeated high-pressure duty cycles.
  • Hot-water capable:
Rated for temperatures up to 212°F (100°C), making it ideal for grease, oil,
and organic residue removal under UHP conditions.
  • Standard 1/4-inch female inlet:
Industry-standard threading for easy integration with 800-bar lances, guns, and quick-connect systems.
  • Vertical-start rotor design:
Ensures smooth engagement when pressure is applied, reducing start-up shock and extending internal service life.

Construction & Design Advantages

  • Precision-balanced rotor assembly:
Maintains stable, consistent rotation at full 800-bar pressure, minimizing vibration and improving spray quality.
  • Wide coverage with aggressive impact:
The 4.0 orifice delivers higher flow than smaller nozzles, allowing faster cleaning of large surfaces
while still providing destructive cutting force.
  • Compact, rugged stainless-steel body:
Designed to withstand corrosion, chemical exposure, salt spray, and harsh outdoor conditions common
in shipyards and heavy industrial facilities.
  • Hot-water and chemical-resistant internals:
Suitable for heated water and chemical-assisted cleaning, expanding versatility across refinery,
fleet, tank, and industrial degreasing applications.

Typical Applications

  • Marine and shipyard maintenance:
Removing rust, coatings, marine growth, scale, and fouling from hull plating, decks, tanks,
    pipelines, and structural steel.
  • Industrial plant cleaning and maintenance:
Stripping chemical residues, scale, oil, soot, and baked-on contamination from vessels,
piping, tanks, and structural steel in refineries and chemical plants.
  • Steel fabrication and metal preparation:
Cleaning beams, plate, weldments, and frames prior to coating, inspection, or further fabrication.
  • Concrete and infrastructure maintenance:
Heavy-duty cleaning and light profiling of slabs, bridge decks, piers, precast panels,
and concrete forms contaminated with residue or industrial waste.
  • Tank and vessel cleaning:
Internal and external cleaning of tanks, silos, clarifiers, and process vessels with scale,
    sludge, hydrocarbons, or sediment buildup.
  • Hydro-excavation and vacuum truck maintenance:
Cleaning debris tanks, hose reels, booms, and truck bodies where heavy slurry, mud,
oil, and waste accumulation are present.
  • Surface preparation and heavy industrial cleaning:
Preparing surfaces for blasting, recoating, inspection, or repair where aggressive
    material removal is required.

Performance & Sizing Guidelines

  • Flow and pressure pairing:
The 4.0 orifice is optimized for mid-to-high flow at full 800-bar pressure.
Always confirm pump output (GPM and PSI) for proper nozzle matching.
  • Operating pressure requirements:
Best rotation and cleaning efficiency are achieved when operating near the rated
    pressure of 11,600 PSI.
  • Coverage versus cutting force:
Provides significantly more coverage than smaller orifices while retaining strong
    rotating impact for demanding applications.
  • System compatibility:
Ensure all hoses, lances, guns, fittings, and safety components are rated for
800 bar (11,600 PSI) and suitable for hot-water or chemical use.
  • Operator technique:
Use steady, overlapping passes with a consistent stand-off distance to achieve
uniform cleaning and prevent surface damage.

Best Practices for Use & Maintenance

  • Flush before installation:
Purge system lines with a fan nozzle to remove rust, scale, or debris before installing
    the rotating nozzle.
  • Apply pressure gradually:
Slowly bring the system up to pressure to reduce mechanical shock and extend component life.
  • Monitor spray pattern and operation:
Changes in rotation speed, vibration, noise, or spray shape may indicate wear or blockage
    and should be addressed promptly.
  • Flush after hot water or chemical use:
Rinse thoroughly with clean water to prevent residue buildup and protect internal components.
  • Follow proper safety protocols:
Use appropriate PPE, maintain safe stand-off distances, and follow all ultra-high-pressure
    safety procedures.
  • Store properly:
Cap the nozzle when not in use and store it in a clean, protected location to prevent
    impact damage or contamination.
