TPR400-10 Rotating Nozzle | 5800 PSI Extreme Turbo

The Annovi Reverberi TPR400-10 Rotary Turbo Nozzle is a high-output industrial rotary jet designed for extreme-duty cleaning and soil-cutting applications. With a large 10.0 nozzle size, a professional 1/4″ female inlet, and a maximum operating pressure of 5,800 PSI (400 bar), this nozzle channels high pump flow into a fast-spinning zero-degree jet. The result is a very aggressive rotary cone pattern that removes hardened buildup on concrete and steel and can also be used in high-pressure hydro-excavation and potholing setups where controlled cutting of compacted soils is required.

Built on AR’s TPR400 rotary platform, the TPR400-10 uses a durable brass housing, ceramic tip, and a precision-balanced rotor assembly engineered for continuous-duty work. Rated for water temperatures up to 212°F (100°C) with a standard 20° spray angle, this nozzle integrates seamlessly into hot- and cold-water systems running on powerful trailer-mounted washers, plant pumps, and hydro-excavation rigs.

Performance & Design Highlights

  • TPR400-10 Very high-flow 10.0 orifice: Designed for large pumps and trailer units that deliver significant GPM, ideal when you want to move a lot of water and material fast.
  • Rotary 0° cutting jet: A concentrated jet is spun at high RPM, multiplying impact and helping to “chisel” away heavy deposits, compacted soils, and dense materials.
  • 400 bar pressure capability: Built for serious industrial work, this nozzle thrives on high-pressure systems used in plants, yards, and jobsite rigs.
  • Hot-water compatible: 212°F rating allows use with hot-water machines for faster degreasing and softened soils or clay during hydro-excavation.
  • Continuous-duty build: Brass housing and ceramic internal tip are chosen for long life in demanding contractor, municipal, and industrial environments.

Typical Applications

  • Hydro-excavation & potholing: Used as part of a hydrovac or pressure/ vacuum system to loosen and cut compacted soils, clay, and road base while safely exposing utilities, valve boxes, fiber ducts, and service laterals.
  • Slot trenching & daylighting: Opening narrow trenches along pipelines and cable routes and daylighting buried infrastructure where precision and reduced mechanical digging are priorities.
  • Large concrete and pad cleaning: Ideal for heavy staining, tracked-in mud, and thick residues on industrial yards, terminals, loading docks, and containment pads.
  • Industrial washdown: Cleaning tanks, mixing areas, process floors, and equipment bases where heavy contamination accumulates.
  • Surface preparation: Aggressive removal of scale, loose coatings, and heavy buildup prior to mechanical prep or recoating.

Sizing & Compatibility Recommendations

  • The 10.0 orifice should only be paired with high-GPM, high-pressure equipment; always verify GPM and PSI against nozzle charts to avoid overloading the pump.
  • Do not exceed 5,800 PSI or 212°F.
  • The 1/4″ F inlet connects to most professional spray guns, lances, and manifold adapters, or to hydro-excavation tooling via appropriate fittings.
  • Not recommended for delicate surfaces, siding, soft wood, or fresh coatings—this is a severe-duty nozzle.

Maintenance & Best Practices

  • Flush system before use: Remove grit and debris from lines and filters before installing to protect the ceramic orifice and rotor.
  • Spin up on a durable surface: Start with the jet aimed at concrete or inside the excavation or pothole until the rotor reaches full speed.
  • Control standoff and dwell: Adjust distance and dwell time to avoid over-cutting substrate or washing away backfill around utilities.
  • Inspect regularly: Monitor pattern, rotation sound, and leaks; service or replace components at the first sign of degradation.
