AR51481 VRP23 Pressure Regulator: 4,060 PSI, 21 GPM, Stainless Steel

The AR51481 is the VRP23 compensated pressure regulating valve, built in AISI 303 stainless steel. It holds the set pressure steady while sending excess flow to bypass, with only a 3 to 6% rise when the full flow is bypassed. It can feed several wands at the same time, which makes it a strong fit for multi-wand wash systems and fixed installations.

How It Works

A piston acting on a cone opens the bypass as pressure reaches the setting. A heavy return spring closes it reliably, and the balanced design keeps the setting steady as bypass flow changes.

Before You Install

• Use clean fresh water. Normal detergents are fine. Check compatibility before running corrosive liquids, and filter dirty water.
• All three ports are 1/2 in. BSP female (G 1/2). Use BSP fittings or adapters on NPT plumbing.
• Always install it with a suitable safety valve.
• On hot water machines, install it before the burner.
• Size the nozzle so at least 5% of total flow goes to bypass. That keeps pressure stable and prevents spikes at shutdown.
• Reset the pressure whenever you replace a worn nozzle.
