Hydraulic Supply Requirements
Annovi Reverberi publishes two factory motor pairings for this platform, both landing near 46 hydraulic horsepower: a gear 90cc motor on 142 L/min (37.5 GPM) of oil at 146 bar (2,117 PSI) for flow-rich systems, or a piston 64cc on 102 L/min (26.9 GPM) at 203 bar (2,944 PSI) where the circuit carries pressure instead. Either way the RTX50-DD wants an engineered supply — a jetter or hydrovac truck’s dedicated system or a purpose-built power unit, with reservoir, return filtration, and cooling sized for continuous duty. For any other motor, target 1450 RPM via RPM ≈ 231 × hydraulic GPM ÷ displacement (in³), verify torque at working pressure, and cap the circuit with a relief protecting the motor. The RTX50-DD is the right buy when it doesn’t: the pump platform itself is a 300-bar machine, and only the bare-pump route with your own motor reaches it. Direct-Drive Architecture
The hollow 13T spline engages a male-splined SAE B motor at the F56 flange — no coupler, no belt, no field alignment, no guard to fabricate. One centerline keeps side load off bearings and seal packs, the RTX50-DD stays compact for trailer decks and skids, and motor or pump dismounts independently at the flange when service requires.
Installation & Operation Notes
Confirm the motor spline before ordering — 13T SAE B; the 14T SAE C motors from RTD-class systems will not engage. Mount horizontally, verify rotation at commissioning, and feed the dual 1″ inlets from a flooded, filtered supply: at 13.2 GPM and 300 bar, suction restriction converts directly into cavitation damage. Fit an unloader plus a safety relief rated for the working pressure, keep every downstream component rated for 4350 PSI with margin — nothing inherited from a 2900 PSI package goes on unverified — size nozzles to the 13.2 GPM duty point, hold 1450 RPM, and winterize before cold-weather storage.
