Feed both trigger circuits from a properly sized manifold with each line carrying an equal share, size each nozzle to its half of the flow — roughly 11 GPM per trigger wand at working pressure — and the RTX85-DD holds both operators at full performance whether one trigger is down or two. Hydraulic Supply Requirements
Annovi Reverberi publishes four factory motor pairings for this platform, covering nearly every engineered circuit: gear 90cc on 37.5 GPM of oil at 1,798 PSI; piston 64cc on 26.9 GPM at 2,509 PSI; gear 44cc on 18.8 GPM at 3,611 PSI; piston 34cc on 14.5 GPM at 4,656 PSI — budget roughly 39–44 hydraulic horsepower continuously whichever fits. That wants a dedicated truck system or purpose-built power unit with reservoir, return filtration, and cooling sized for shift duty. For any other SAE B motor, target 1450 RPM via RPM ≈ 231 × hydraulic GPM ÷ displacement (in³), verify torque at working pressure, and relieve within the motor’s rating. Volume Discipline
Maximum flow concentrates the engineering at the inlet: 22.5 GPM through restricted suction cavitates, and cavitation is the one failure no build quality survives. Flooded supply, honest filtration, full-size plumbing through both 1″ inlets — non-negotiable, and doubly so on multi-trigger systems where demand steps up and down as triggers cycle. Get the inlet right and the RTX85-DD’s moderate 150-bar duty point returns the favor: seal and valve wear runs the gentlest curve in the family even at maximum water.
Direct-Drive Architecture
The hollow 13T spline engages a male-splined SAE B motor at the F56 flange — no coupler, no belt, no field alignment, no side load reaching bearings or seal packs. Motor and pump dismount independently at the flange, and the RTX85-DD shares repair kits and procedures with the entire RTX family, keeping one parts shelf behind the whole fleet.
Installation & Operation Notes
Confirm the motor spline before ordering — 13T SAE B; 14T SAE C hardware from RTD-class systems will not engage. Mount horizontally, verify rotation at commissioning, and honor the suction rules above without exception. Fit an unloader plus safety relief for the working pressure, size single-wand nozzles to the full 22.5 GPM or multi-trigger nozzles to their per-trigger share, hold 1450 RPM as the ceiling, and winterize thoroughly — the highest-flow pump in the line holds the most trapped water when the freeze comes.
