RTJ70N | 18 GPM 4000 PSI Pump 1000 RPM 35mm Super-Duty

The Annovi Reverberi RTJ70N is a high-output, industrial
triplex plunger pump built for applications where crews need
serious cleaning power and continuous-duty reliability. Delivering up to
18.5 GPM at 4,000 PSI at a slow, industrial-rated
1,000 RPM, this heavy-duty pump is ideal for large bay
washdown, multi-gun systems, central plant cleaning, and industrial pressure
washing where uptime and flow capacity are critical.

Part of AR’s 282 Series (RTJ), the RTJ70N combines a robust
cast-iron crankcase, nickel-plated brass head,
ceramic pistons, and bronze connecting rods to
withstand long duty cycles and harsh environments. With a
35 mm solid shaft, horizontal orientation, and option for
direct or pulley drive, it integrates easily into engine- or motor-driven
skids, stationary systems, and custom OEM frames.

Pump Construction & Design

Heavy-Duty Triplex Architecture

  • Three-piston alternating volumetric design delivers smooth, high-pressure flow with reduced pulsation for stable nozzle patterns and operator control.
  • Ceramic plungers resist abrasion and thermal shock, extending seal and piston life under demanding industrial workloads.
  • Cast-iron body and crankcase provide rigidity, strength, and excellent heat dissipation for continuous-duty operation.
  • Nickel-plated brass pump head offers superior corrosion resistance and durability in aggressive washdown and chemical detergent environments.
  • Bronze connecting rods run on oversized bearings for long service life at 1,000 RPM with high hydraulic loads.

Industrial-Duty Performance

  • Max flow: 18.5 GPM (70 L/min) – supports multi-gun systems or large single-gun demand.
  • Max pressure: 4,000 PSI (275 bar) – plenty of bite for heavy soil, grease, and concrete cleaning.
  • Rated speed: 1,000 RPM – slow-running design reduces wear, noise, and operating temperature.
  • Power requirement: approx. 50.8 EBHP – pairs well with high-horsepower electric motors or industrial engines.
  • Max fluid temperature: 140°F (60°C) with proper inlet conditions and filtration.

Applications & Industry Use Cases

High-Flow Industrial Cleaning

  • Large vehicle and fleet wash bays servicing dump trucks, mixers, ag equipment, and municipal fleets.
  • Industrial washdown systems for factories, steel and fabrication shops, recycling yards, and waste-handling facilities.
  • Concrete and construction cleanup where high flow and pressure help remove slurry, coatings, and build-up quickly.
  • Tank farms and storage facilities requiring powerful rinsing on pads, containment areas, and loading zones.

RTJ70N | 18 GPM 4000 PSI Pump 1000 RPM 35mm Super-Duty

Process, Plant & OEM Systems

  • Centralized pump rooms feeding multiple hose stations or reel drops throughout a plant.
  • Fixed hydropower wash skids in food processing, meat packing, and USDA-compliant facilities (with appropriate downstream stainless components).
  • OEM-engineered skids for contract cleaning, rental fleets, or custom industrial equipment builders.
  • Large surface cleaners for parking decks, terminals, warehouses, and industrial yards.

Installation & Integration

Drive & Mounting

  • Solid 35 mm shaft is ready for direct-coupling to an appropriately sized motor or for pulley/belt drive systems.
  • Slow-speed 1,000 RPM design pairs well with 4-pole electric motors or gear-reduced engine drives.
  • Mount on a rigid, well-braced base with proper alignment to minimize vibration and shaft load.
  • Allow service clearance around the head and crankcase for valve, seal, and oil maintenance.

Plumbing & System Design

  • Use adequate inlet plumbing (1-1/2″ or larger supply, short runs, smooth bends) to prevent starvation at 18.5 GPM.
  • Install a high-capacity inlet strainer to protect pistons and valves from debris and scale.
  • Pair with a properly sized unloader valve, safety relief, and pressure gauge rated for at least 4,000 PSI.
  • Specify high-pressure hose and fittings suited to 4,000 PSI continuous service with adequate safety margin.

Maintenance & Serviceability

Long-Life Service Features

  • Threaded rear sight glass and drain simplify oil checks and oil changes at the 137 oz crankcase capacity.
  • Ceramic plungers and bronze rods are designed for long life under heavy load; both are serviceable with AR repair kits.
  • Removable valve caps allow straightforward inspection and replacement of check valves when performance drops.
  • Regularly verifying oil level, inlet filtration, and unloader settings will maximize pump life and uptime.
  • With proper installation, filtration, and preventive maintenance, the RTJ70N delivers years of dependable service in demanding industrial environments.
