HYDB20 | Hydraulic Pump & Motor Base Plate | Painted Zinc-Plated Steel
HYDB20 is the harsh-environment member of Annovi Reverberi’s base plate line: a 10.9-gauge steel mounting plate finished in painted zinc plating — a duplex coating of paint over galvanic protection — and hole-punched for rubber isolation feet. Like its HYDB18 and HYDB19 siblings, it is the raw foundation of a pump-and-motor build: no pre-drilled pump pattern, no committed drive architecture, just factory-grade steel ready for the layout your components define. What sets the HYDB20 apart is the finish package, and on equipment that lives its whole life wet, finish is not cosmetic.
The duplex system works the way bridge and marine steel does: the zinc layer protects galvanically — sacrificing itself at any scratch before the steel corrodes — while the paint layer shields the zinc itself, multiplying the life of both. On a wash-system base, permanently splashed, chemically dosed, and bolted where nobody repaints it, that stacked protection is the difference between a plate that outlasts the pump above it and one that becomes the rust stain under it.

Build Notes
Lay out the pump-and-motor centerline before drilling — alignment is decided at the plate — and drill to the components’ actual foot dimensions rather than catalog nominals. Where the paint layer is cut for mounting holes, the zinc beneath continues protecting the exposed edge galvanically; touch up drilled edges anyway on the harshest installs. Fit the rubber feet before final installation, mount to flat structure, verify alignment after first run-up, and call WSHPWR for AR pump and HYDM motor pattern drawings so the HYDB20 gets drilled once, correctly.
