HYD-XM1515 | Hydraulic Motor Pump Drive Unit | 4.0 GPM 3000 PSI | Lightweight XM Series
HYD-XM1515 is the lightweight of Annovi Reverberi’s 4 GPM hydraulic drive class — built on the XM series, AR’s most compact industrial frame, and rated at 4.0 GPM and up to 3000 PSI (206 bar) at 1450 RPM per AR North America’s published specifications. Where the RK-based drive units carry the heavier 228-series crankcase, the XM’s 178-series frame trims pounds and inches from the same duty point — the drive unit for cabinets, carts, tool compartments, and OEM builds where every unit of weight and space is accounted for.
The lighter frame changes nothing about the work. Four gallons a minute at commercial pressure handles the core washdown catalog — skid steer and tractor rinse-down, service and utility truck cleaning duty, contractor rig integration, facility maintenance — powered entirely from the host machine’s hydraulic circuit with no engine, fuel, or belts anywhere in the drive. The HYD-XM1515 simply delivers it from the smallest, lightest package in the 4 GPM lineup.

Hydraulic Supply Requirements
Budget approximately 11 to 12 hydraulic horsepower for full 4.0 GPM at 3000 PSI output: on the order of 8 to 9.5 GPM (30–36 L/min) of oil at roughly 2,100 PSI working pressure, within the drive motor’s 9.5 GPM maximum. That envelope fits standard skid steer auxiliaries, tractor remotes, and truck hydraulic systems comfortably — this is not a demanding unit. Protect the motor with a relief set for its rating, route return oil short and filtered to tank, and provide oil cooling for continuous trigger-on duty. With less flow available, the HYD-XM1515 runs proportionally slower while full water pressure still requires full supply pressure at the motor. Call WSHPWR with your machine’s auxiliary flow and pressure and we will confirm the match before you order.
Where Light Wins
Every drive unit ends up mounted somewhere, and the mounting location is where the XM frame earns its keep. Truck tool compartments with weight-rated shelves. Slide-in skids that one technician lifts. Cart- and cabinet-based wash systems where the pump shares space with tanks, reels, and plumbing. OEM machines engineered against a mass budget. In each of those, the difference between AR’s lightest 4 GPM frame and the heavier RK-class alternative is the difference between a clean fit and a compromise — with zero surrender in output. Fleets that need the heavier crankcase for maximum-duty-cycle service can step to the HYD-RK1520 on the same duty point; WSHPWR stocks both and will match the frame to the hours you actually run.
Direct-Drive Simplicity
The gear motor mounts to the pump through AR’s F38 close-couple interface — one centerline, no belts, pulleys, guards, couplers, or field alignment. Side loading on bearings and seals stays minimal, output is independent of the host machine’s engine speed, and the motor or pump dismounts independently at the flange when service calls. Two hydraulic lines in, high-pressure water out.
Compact-Frame Construction
The 178-series frame carries the same wet-end engineering as its bigger siblings: brass head, one-piece ceramic plungers for heat dissipation and abrasion resistance, and a die-cast aluminum crankcase with oil monitoring. Valve access through the head keeps routine inspection quick, and AR repair kits keep the service path standard for any shop already maintaining AR equipment.
Installation & Operation Notes
Mount horizontally and confirm motor rotation at commissioning. Feed the 1/2″ inlet from a flooded, filtered supply with short, unrestricted plumbing. Pair the discharge with a properly sized unloader set against your working pressure, size nozzle orifices to the 4.0 GPM duty point, hold 1450 RPM as the ceiling, and winterize before cold-weather storage — compact units in tool compartments are easy to forget at the first freeze.
Quality Assurance & Maintenance
Every HYD-XM1515 ships factory-tested for flow rate, pressure stability, and vibration. Upkeep follows AR’s standard schedule — crankcase oil changes, seal inspection, periodic valve checks with AR repair kits — on a frame small enough that full service fits in a maintenance window with room to spare.
HYD-XM1515 Key Features & Applications
- 4.0 GPM at 3000 PSI, 1450 RPM — full commercial duty from AR’s lightest industrial frame.
- Complete hydraulic drive unit: XM pump close-coupled to a gear motor on the F38 interface.
- Runs on ~8–9.5 GPM of oil (~11–12 hydraulic HP) — standard auxiliary circuits qualify easily.
- Smallest, lightest package in the 4 GPM hydraulic class — built for cabinets, carts, and weight budgets.
- Brass head, ceramic plungers, and standard AR repair kits for a familiar service path.
- Ideal for truck tool-compartment installs, slide-in skids, cart and cabinet wash systems, OEM compact builds, and skid steer or tractor washdown.
