W4443WHT is the hot water W4443WH built for tank feed, rated 4.3 GPM at 4,060 PSI at 3450 RPM for inlet water up to 167°F, with a 190°F-rated bypass regulator and adjustable injector built into the pump head and the King full-flow inlet adapter installed. The W4443WHT goes straight onto a trailer or skid fed from a hot water tank.

Why 4,060 PSI: in hot water duty the W4443WHT carries Bertolini’s catalog rating of 4,060 PSI (280 bar), which allows for the extra thermal stress hot water puts on seals and internal parts. The 4,400 PSI rating applies to the cold water versions only. The pump is made in Reggio Emilia, Italy, where Bertolini has built pumps since 1918.

Hot Water Packings, 190°F Bypass and Tank Feed

Standard pumps, including the cold water W4443, are rated for inlet water up to 140°F. Above that, cold water packings soften, wear fast and can let water into the oil. The W4443WHT is built with a hot water packing system, Sintek NBR U packings in front and Inox U packings in the rear, rated for sustained inlet water up to 167°F (75°C). The bypass regulator is machined into the forged brass head and rated to 190°F on its own, a 23 degree margin above the hottest inlet water the pump sees, so the bypass handles hot recirculating water without cooking. An adjustable downstream injector is built in as well. The King tank-feed adapter, a 1/2 in. male NPT by 1-1/4 in. plated steel hose barb with a smooth tapered bore, lets the pump draw freely from a hot water tank through a 1-1/4 in. non-collapsible hose.

• W, WS and WP versions: built-in unloader and injector, with standard, quick connect socket or quick connect plug outlet.
