W4443VPI is the W4443 pump plumbed with an external VRT3-310A unloader, a fixed 16% chemical injector and a 3/8 in. steel quick connect plug on the outlet, rated 4.3 GPM at 4,400 PSI at 3450 RPM. It is the complete Pressure-Pro replacement with soap built in: the plug outlet takes your Pressure-Pro hose, and the injector and detergent hose come installed.

Why 4,400 PSI, and why only here: Bertolini’s standard WMG is rated 4,000 PSI. The W4443VPI is built with stronger side bearings and upgraded bronze connecting rods, and Bertolini has granted it a 4,400 PSI rating exclusive to WSHPWR.com. It is made in Reggio Emilia, Italy, where Bertolini has built pumps since 1918.

Why a VRT Unloader with Built-In Soap

On the W4443VPI, the VRT3-310A is rated to 4,500 PSI, a safety margin above the pump’s 4,400 PSI, and it is fully serviceable in the field: replace it without opening the pump head. Its Easy Start feature opens the bypass at startup, so the engine pulls over against zero back pressure. Recoil starts take less effort and electric starters draw less current. The factory bypass loop and thermal relief valve keep the W4443VPI cool when the trigger is closed: the valve opens at 124 to 145°F, dumps hot water and draws in cool supply water, then closes on its own. The W4443VPI injector is set to a fixed 16% detergent ratio: drop the weighted filter into your soap, and there is nothing to adjust.

Which W4443 Do You Need?

Every cold water version is rated 4,400 PSI. Choose the one built for your machine:

• Bare pump: no unloader. For shops that reuse their own unloader and plumbing.
• W, WS and WP versions: built-in unloader and injector, with standard, quick connect socket or quick connect plug outlet.
• VRT, VP and VPI versions (VPI is this page): plumbed with an external VRT unloader, a quick connect plug outlet on the VP and VPI, and an injector on the VPI.
• DLX and VPDLX versions: deluxe builds with a double-loop external bypass and a clear view inlet filter.

What Makes a Bertolini Different

• Can I adjust the soap ratio? No. The injector is fixed at 16%, so every job gets the same mix.
• Can it run hot water? The W4443VPI is rated to 140°F. For hotter water, choose an H version.
