Where hollow-shaft pumps slide over their motor, a solid-shaft pump must be coupled to it, and the coupling is where fabricated builds go wrong: mis-specified inserts, freehand alignment, and vibration that hunts down seals and bearings. The HYDBK2 packages the correct coupler, the flange that fixes both centerlines, rubber isolation feet, and the mounting hardware — pump, motor, and accessories sold separately.
