The Bolondi BIXC061EEB-TK-SF is a specialized Rotojet rotary spray cleaning head designed for industrial tank and vessel cleaning

Cleaning the inside of a tank by hand means confined-space entry, a permit, a second person, and a shift. A rotary jet head means closing the lid and running a cycle.

The Bolondi BIXC061EEB is a self-rotating Rotojet spray head in 316L stainless, rated to 2,900 PSI with full 360° coverage. It comes in three mounting configurations, and mounting is the only thing that separates them.

The three BIXC061EEB versions

Model Mounting Best for
BIXC061EEB Standard inlet port General tank cleaning, IBCs, compact vessels
BIXC061EEB-SF Custom flange, flush integration Tanks with recessed or non-standard inlet fittings
BIXC061EEB-TK-SF TK-style flange plus dome nozzle Restricted access, sanitary fixed-mount installs

All three share the same cleaning performance: water-motor self-rotation, 316L stainless construction, up to 2,900 PSI (200 bar), full 360° coverage. Pick by the port you have to mount into.

How it works without power

The head has no electrical or pneumatic connection. Pressurised cleaning fluid entering the unit drives a precision turbine, and that turbine drives the spray arm assembly.

Two consequences worth understanding:

  • Nothing to wire. No motor, no cable gland, no explosion-proof rating question in a solvent tank. The pump you already have is the power source.
  • Rotation speed follows flow. The head turns at a rate set by the fluid driving it, so your pump’s flow affects the cleaning pattern, not just the impact.

Which mounting you need

Standard port: take the base model. It fits a conventional tank opening and there is nothing to gain from the others.

Recessed or irregular opening: the SF flange mounts flush into non-standard fittings. This is the one for older vessels and anything built to a custom drawing.

Permanent sanitary installation: the TK-SF adds a dome nozzle housing and eliminates external protrusions at the mounting point. That matters in food, beverage and pharmaceutical work, where anything that protrudes is somewhere product can sit.

The dome housing also angles the jets for deeper penetration and more even wall coverage, which helps in tanks with awkward internal geometry where a standard head leaves shadowed areas.

Why 316L

The 316 grade adds molybdenum, which is what gives chloride resistance. In a tank washed with caustic solutions, acid sanitizers or hot chemistry, that is the property that decides whether the head survives.

It also meets the sanitary finish standards required in regulated food, beverage and pharmaceutical work.

Where the BIXC061EEB is used

  • Food and beverage: fermentation tanks, dairy silos, beverage mixers, syrup storage
  • Pharmaceutical and biotech: reactor vessels, blending tanks, CIP-validated process equipment
  • Chemical and specialty manufacturing: adhesive, solvent, coating and high-viscosity product containers
  • Industrial utilities: wastewater tanks, clarifiers and reservoirs
  • IBC and tote cleaning across all of the above

CIP integration

These drop into fixed Clean-in-Place loops or mobile wash carts. The operational case is straightforward: shorter downtime between production runs, no confined-space entry, lower labour cost, and a repeatable cycle that can be documented for compliance.

That last point is often the deciding one. A manual clean varies with whoever did it. A jet head cycle does not, which is what auditors want to see.
